Curriculum design is ever-changing, yet certain fundamentals about learning are immutable:

  • Relevance and authenticity of learning experiences affect engagement of students.

  • Rigor and reflection are equally important for instructional design.

  • Curiosity is an important trait to develop and leverage.

  • Framing failure as an opportunity to grow is critical to students' willingness to take risks.

I've conceptualized and built curriculum for use in my own classroom, worked in teams to design and deliver curriculum professional development at the district level, and have worked in teams with ed-tech companies and nonprofit organizations  to develop and refine curriculum concepts for students and adults.

Whether it's analog or a blended learning environment, what are your curriculum needs? How may I serve on your team to help create learning opportunities your students or staff?
